Your Role

As a Nursery Third in Charge, you will:

  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
  • Enhance children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
  • Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and child learning journals.
  • Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
  • Support the key person approach to help children form secure attachments.
  • Maintain accurate records related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
  • Understand and meet the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS.
What You Need

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification
  • Essential: Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years
  • Desirable: Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position
  • Desirable: Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating
  • Essential: Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
  • Essential: Fluency in written and spoken English

All perks are pro-rata for part-time staff and subject to successful completion of the probationary period. These perks may be subject to further conditions and can be withdrawn or reviewed at the discretion of the company.
