Position: Nursery Room Leader
Full-Time - Up to 40 hours per week - £15.00 p/h

Role OverviewAs our Nursery Room Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the care and development of up to 15 babies. Working closely with a talented team of practitioners, you will:
- Create a nurturing and safe environment for children under 2 years old, fostering their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth.
- Implement a key person approach to help babies form secure attachments.
- Guide your colleagues in identifying training and development needs.
- Maintain high-quality learning journals and records using the EyLog and EyMan systems.
- Build positive relationships with parents, inviting them to participate in activities and keeping them informed about their child’s development.
- Model professionalism, consistency, and impartiality, fostering respect among your team, parents, and children.
- Ensure compliance with the EYFS framework and uphold safety standards.
Your passion for outdoor learning and strong understanding of child development will be key to your success in this role!
Essential Qualifications & SkillsTo thrive in this role, you should possess:
- A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare (Essential)
- Previous experience working with babies under 2 years old
- A passion for the outdoors and enthusiasm for forest school activities
- A strong understanding of child development and the ability to provide purposeful learning experiences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in working with parents and colleagues
- A commitment to safeguarding and child protection
