The Opportunity
This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of product development, transforming ideas into manufacturable solutions. You’ll work across the full design lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging directly with customers to ensure products meet real-world needs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop product concepts from initial idea through to production Create sketches, 3D CAD models, and detailed engineering drawings Build and test prototypes to refine designs Conduct market research and gather customer insights Visit clients to understand user needs and collect feedback Apply knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes Participate in tooling trials and product evaluations Ensure designs meet quality, durability, and performance standards Collaborate with wider teams to support product launches globallyWhat We’re Looking For
Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field (minimum 2:1) Strong understanding of product design and development Proficiency in CAD software (ideally SolidWorks) Creative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills Practical experience in prototyping and model making Knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently Strong communication and teamwork skillsDesirable
Experience within industrial or manufacturing environments Knowledge of plastics, metals, or other production processesWhat’s on Offer
