Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, All year round
Salary: £30,056 per annum

Your RoleWe are on the lookout for a passionate Room Leader to join our dedicated team. This full-time role involves working 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm. The ideal candidate will hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification. Please note, this is a year-round position, as our nursery operates throughout the year.

- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources tailored to children's age and development
- Support the holistic development of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional needs
- Assist staff in updating the EyLog system and child learning journals with high-quality documentation
- Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role
- Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments and identify training needs for staff
- Maintain accurate records related to children and staff on the EyMan system
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor
- Understand and meet the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS
- Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
- Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years - Essential
- Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position - Desirable
- Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
- Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
- Fluency in written and spoken English - Essential
