Position Details- Role: Room Leader
- Hours: Full Time - 40 Hours Per Week
- Salary: £29,244
As our Room Leader in the toddler room (ages 1-2 years), you will work closely with other rooms to ensure smooth transitions and create a nurturing environment for all children. Our nursery operates from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM , and we require flexibility in your shift patterns.

As a Room Leader, you will:
- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
- Support children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
- Assist staff in maintaining high-quality learning journals and updating the EyLog system.
- Lead by example, promoting respect and consistency.
- Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments.
- Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, and visitor.
- Understand and meet the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
- Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years - Essential
- Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position - Desirable
- Knowledge of Ofsted expectations - Desirable
- Understanding of the EYFS statutory framework - Essential
- Fluency in written and spoken English - Essential
