Your RoleWe are on the lookout for a passionate Room Leader to join our dedicated team. This full-time role involves working 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm. The ideal candidate will hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare. Please note, this is a year-round position, as our nursery operates continuously throughout the year.

- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.

- Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and children's learning journals.
- Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
- Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments.
- Maintain accurate records related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
- Understand and uphold the statutory framework for the EYFS.
- Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification
- Essential: Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years
- Desirable: Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position
- Desirable: Knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating
- Essential: Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS
- Essential: Fluent in written and spoken English
