We are seeking a
Data Engineer
for a full-time and direct hire role for one of our amazing partners in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area. This is a hybrid role that will require you to work onsite 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing, constructing, and sustaining robust data pipelines to efficiently collect, process, and transform data from diverse sources into usable formats.
Craft and manage data models to guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and scalability across their systems.
Develop and refine the ETL processes to facilitate the seamless movement and transformation of data.
Integrate data from various systems and sources to make sure that data quality and reliability are upheld.
Manage and optimize their data warehousing solutions, which are critical for supporting business reporting and analytics.
Ensure strict compliance with data governance policies by implementing rigorous data quality checks and data validation processes.
Do performance tuning to optimize database and query performance to ensure speedy and efficient data retrieval.
Maintain documentation of data pipelines, processes, and comprehensive data dictionaries.
Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to fully understand data requirements and to provide tailor-made solutions that meet their evolving business needs.
Proactively identify and address data-related issues by implementing robust monitoring solutions and troubleshooting them.
Required Experience:
4-6 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
Strong and in-depth knowledge of data integration tools and ETL processes.
Strong understanding of data warehousing and both SQL and NoSQL database systems.
Familiar with cloud-based data platforms like Google Cloud (GCP), AWS or Azure.
Familiar with data governance and security best practices.
Experience with data visualization tools like Looker or Power BI is a plus.
Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
