Summary:
The Quality Assurance Engineer works closely with the Corporate Quality Director and Operations to support internal and external audits, process improvement, control of documented information, nonconformance and root cause analysis, and analysis of data to help the company achieve continual improvement and quality objective goals.
What You Will Do Everyday:
Oversee the control of quality system documented information.
Participate in regular nonconformance reviews and root cause analysis.
Assists the Corporate Quality Director in facilitating external audits and post-audit activity.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement both internal and external corrective actions.
Presents data to the quality team and management.
Performs internal audits individually and in a team environment.
Requirements :
3+ years in a Quality Engineering role or related field in an aerospace/commercial distribution company (required).
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or five years related experience and/or training in an Aerospace, Manufacturing or Distribution environment.
Strong knowledge of control principles, methodologies, and tools.
Experience with Quality Managements Systems (QMS) and the AS9100/AS9120 Quality System Standards.
Auditing knowledge through training and work experience preferred.
