The Systems Integration team in the UK work closely with CT Ireland and their Dublin office to deliver projects across the UK, Ireland and across Europe for permanent installations. The collaboration brings shared resources, skills, administration and maintenance support to ensure that we can provide timely service and issue management.
The Role
This is a key role within the engineering team and will involve working closely with the wider Systems Integration team. This role would suit an individual with strong AV, construction and technical experience. In this role, you will deliver projects to specification, on time, on budget and most importantly, to the client's satisfaction. You will ensure that all deliverables of the project are produced in an organized, efficient and timely manner. You will also develop and maintain respectful, collaborative partnership within the internal project team. The role requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail with the ability to follow processes. Working under pressure and to tight deadlines is an everyday reality in this role so a calm and organised manner is essential.
What you need to succeed in this role:
At least 6 years of relevant experience in AV, construction or technical project delivery
Experience in multiple markets is advantageous– experiential, virtual production, sports, broadcast, corporate, etc.
Fluent English speaker with strong communication skills
A structured way of working and strong attention to detail
The ability to manage multiple projects, clients, and tasks simultaneously
To be deadline conscious with the ability to prioritise workload
Awareness of the project goals, risks and objectives and how to deliver on them or mitigate them.
Ability to comprehend and clearly communicate technical requirements/specifications to non-technical team members, clients, and management
Can work effectively in a team but also be self-driven
To show enthusiasm for the role and the development of the department
Demonstrate initiative and the ability to learn new tools quickly
Strong knowledge of construction management and experience working with general contractors, architects, electrical contractors, etc.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the design and technical delivery of AV systems from the initial client discussions to project handover.
Validate design and tender information to ensure it meets the client’s intended functionality.
Manage all project deliverables in line with the project schedule and in collaboration with all project stakeholders.
Produce technical documentation, reports and drawings. This includes but is not limited to cable schedules, schematics, rack layouts and projection studies. Drawings will be produced using AutoCAD. Our documentation ranges from high level design to detailed construction packages.
Manage the bill of materials ensuring all changes are logged appropriately and coordinated with the rest of the project team.
Carry out site surveys to fully understand the limitations and scope of the project in advance to installation. Surveys will involve taking measurements, sketching and coordinating with site teams.
Lead internal meetings with colleagues, project managers and procurement regarding project status and ongoing issues.
Document site status/conditions as required using reports, photographs to ensure accurate and relevant information is available to the wider team.
Deliver project handovers along with the project manager and ensure client satisfaction with the installed system.
Provide pre-sales technical support.
Help develop and improve the company’s internal processes by reporting corrective actions, updates and improvement ideas.
Stay current with AV industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Where relevant, assist the service team in closing open fault cases on client sites.
