The Coordinator, Travel Trade, North America position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the North America Travel Trade Sales (NATT) organization, providing essential support to a team of seven sales professionals. Key responsibilities include managing VIP reservations, offering administrative support to the sales team, coordinating events, updating sales collateral, facilitating customer communications, and providing day-to-day assistance during the sales team's travel. This position will heavily focus on administrative responsibilities, requiring exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to effectively manage a diverse range of tasks and duties.
As the "backbone" of the NATT Sales organization, the ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, disciplined, and proactive professional with outstanding analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
This is a full-time position located in Los Angeles. We offer a hybrid schedule, working from our LA office in Century City 2 days per week.
Responsibilities
Assisting the sales team with managing VIP reservations from inquiry to booking, including individual reservations from travel advisors and entertainment accounts. This involves liaising with Directors of Sales, Reservations Managers, and travel agents via phone and email to ensure timely acknowledgment of requests and submission of detailed proposals within 24 hours.
Maintaining Salesforce, Leading’s CRM system, by supporting the Sales team with updating account and contact profiles, booking codes, and managing new inquiries, tasks, activities, and campaigns.
Responsible for coordination of administrative tasks within the sales department supporting the North America Travel Trade Sales team
Provide support for regional events in the US as needed.
Daily management and maintenance of the LHW hotel list, ensuring 100% accuracy at all times.
Scheduling webinars for the NATT sales team when requested by hoteliers including the hotel brief
Schedule client appointments for sales directors/managers when needed
Create and update Sales presentations upon requests from the NATT Team
Develop proficiency in Tableau to efficiently generate reports as required
Administering RSVP lists for LHW client events when required
Managing any projects assigned by the sales director and/or other authorized LHW sales executive
Collaborate closely with the other NATT coordinator on the East Coast to ensure a seamless and efficient working environment
Other responsibilities in addition to the above may be allocated if the business needs require this.
Requirements & Experiences
Accredited 4-year degree
Ideal full-time entry-level position for graduates of a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree
A minimum of 1-3 years of experience (full-time or part-time) in hospitality or other commercial organization is desired
Command of English both written and spoken required, proficiency in other languages a plus
Passion for luxury hotels, travel and hospitality
Valid US work visa required

Compensation
Expected Salary*: $50,000-53,000
Target Incentive bonus: 10%
*Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, location and applicable laws.
