The University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc (UTFI) invites applications and nominations to fill the position of
Business Intelligence Analyst for
the University of Tennessee Foundation. Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, the Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for providing reporting, analytical, and data management support to UTFI fundraising program and internal financial operations.
This role will compile, organize, analyze, and report information related to fundraising KPIs, employee performance metrics, and internal operations for UTFI, campuses, colleges, departments, and the university as a whole.
Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Data Reporting and Analytics:
Compile, analyze and deliver detailed reports on fundraising KPI's, employee performance metrics, and internal operations. Ensure data accuracy and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision- making across UTFI, campuses, colleges, and departments.
Strategic Decision Support:
Provide critical data and analytics to UTFI leadership, the UT Board of Trustees, and the UT Foundation's Board of Directors.
Collaboration and Data Management:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and optimize data systems. Support internal financial operations and the Assistant Vice President of Advancement Services in measuring the efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
The candidate who fills the Business Intelligence Analyst position is required to have:
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of experience in analytics, statistics, computer science, or related field
3+ years of experience using SQL, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio, reporting tools such as Microsoft SSRS, and visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau
A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required due to travel responsibilities of the position. UTFI reserves the right to consider all appropriate circumstances. In general, any significant driving offense less than 12 months old will eliminate the application from consideration for the position.
Note - Candidates holding a graduate degree must have at least 1 year of experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
In addition to meeting the required qualifications, the preferred candidate will have:
Master's Degree
Knowledge of Salesforce CRM database
