About the Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a

QA Engineer II

to join our Tailored Technology team. This individual will be responsible for establishing and maintaining QA practices, writing test scenarios and executing tests, both manually and with automated tools. The QA Engineer will work with a small, collaborative team of seasoned QA engineers and business partners in the Omni channel team.

What you'll do

| Key Accountabilities Participate in the design and implementation process of new and existing products Lead Omni channel projects from QA standpoint and provide technical leadership to other QA engineers Define and implement black-box, white box and automated testing suites for core technologies, products, web and POS -based applications Design, develop, and maintain test scripts (web/mobile/API). Write and maintain test automation scripts for Omni channel projects Test data and perform business applications functional system, integration (end-to-end) tests for new and existing applications Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines. Participate in review and approval process of project deliverables Advise project teams on appropriate approaches to testing delivered products, including test tool sets Provide guidance to development and project teams on the creation of a master test plan and other testing related deliverables Assist project teams on identifying the needs for appropriate test environments and coordinate the establishment of appropriate test environments Oversee processes for identifying, tracking and reporting the results of test procedures Assist in populating and maintaining regression (Manual/Automation) test suites Perform regression testing using existing scripts Find, track and prioritize bugs and work toward their resolution Define and track quality assurance automation metrics such as automation defect densities, defects age and automation coverage Participate in the testing of production emergency bug fixes Perform rotating on-call support duties and periodically participate in after-hours release testing Participate in release production validation What you'll bring

| Skills & Experience

5+ years of testing experience in POS, E-commerce and back-end Integration systems. Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant bachelor's degree preferred Expertise in Web, POS systems & Mobile Application Testing. Strong understanding of POS transaction flows, payment methods, and POS E2E Integrations. Extensive experience with SDLC and testing methodologies, including Functional testing, E2E integration testing, System testing, Compatibility testing, Regression Testing and usability testing in different mobiles / tablets and web-based applications. Good experience in Test Plan Creation, Test Case Creation and Peer Review. Have experience in testing the applications in different mobiles / tablets and web browsers. Experience in various SDLC process like Agile, Incremental and Water Fall Model Expertise in Software Testing Life Cycle and Defect life Cycle. Expertise in writing test cases based on the Business requirements. Good in Functional testing and its mandatory with e-Comm / retail experience background. Good experience in API testing using Post Man / Rest Assured / SoapUI tools and have worked in agile environment. Have hands experience in tools like JIRA, Zephyr, QC tools, etc. Experience in Automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, UiPath or equivalent. Experience in Database testing using SQL server/ Oracle commands. Experience on XML, SQL, Java, scripts to automate testing tasks Experience on web services, REST integration testing. Knowledge on automation testing concepts. Experience in Managing, analyzing, and maintaining test cases in QA tools. Ability to work in an onsite-offshore model. Guiding / supporting the team members Good Experience in interactions with business team to understand the user stories / business cases. Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI etc., Knowledge on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Please note that you do not need to qualify for all requirements to be considered. The starting salary for this position is $80,704 - 107,600 and may increase to $134,500 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual's skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
