Senior Mechanical Design Engineer:

A leading global provider of laboratory instrumentation is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join its cutting-edge team. Key Responsibilities:

Spearhead the mechanical design and development of high-precision laboratory instruments, incorporating electromechanical, fluidic, and optical components. Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of subsystems. Manage the full product development lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to testing, regulatory compliance, and production. Create highly detailed documentation, including 3D models, engineering drawings, and assembly procedures. Identify and resolve complex design challenges, ensuring adherence to industry safety and compliance standards. Lead new product innovation and introduction, driving mechanical design excellence and technological advancements. Utilize 3D modeling software to design and optimize mechanical components. Provide strategic technical leadership in a fast-paced, high-performance engineering team.

Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field (Physics, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry); Master's Degree preferred. 10+ years in mechanical design engineering, preferably within laboratory instrumentation, automation, or high-precision manufacturing. Deep knowledge of fluid dynamics, high-pressure systems, precision automation, and robust mechanical design. Proven track record of leading independent projects and technical teams in a cross-functional environment. Strong background in 3D CAD modeling; experience with Creo Parametric is a major plus. Strong ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and convey complex technical concepts clearly.
