Senior Voip Engineer

Our client is a growing communications technology provider delivering voice and connectivity solutions to business across Ireland. They are now hiring a Senior VoIP / Telecom Engineer to support and evolve the company’s telephony and real‑time communication environment.

The role will focus on maintaining high-quality voice services, improving platform performance, and resolving complex signalling and routing issues within a production VoIP environment.

• Maintain and improve VoIP and telephony infrastructure
  
• Manage SIP and RTP traffic across production environments
  
• Support platforms such as Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, or similar
  
• Troubleshoot call quality, routing, and signalling issues
  
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex telephony incidents
  
• Work with infrastructure teams to ensure platform reliability and scalability
  

• 
  
• 5–8+ years experience working with VoIP systems in production environments
  
• Strong knowledge of SIP, RTP, and WebRTC protocols
  
• Experience supporting platforms such as Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, or Kamailio
  
• Strong troubleshooting experience across voice networking and signalling
  
• Good networking knowledge including routing, NAT, and firewalls
