Senior React Engineer

Senior Frontend Engineer (React) Location: Dublin City Centre - hybrid Salary: €80K base + benefits

A leading Irish financial services organisation at the heart of wealth and capital markets is seeking a talented Senior Frontend Engineer to join their growing technology team. This Senior Frontend Engineer role offers the opportunity to build high-performance, scalable user interfaces that support critical financial platforms used by a wide range of clients.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping modern frontend architecture, driving best practices, and delivering seamless, user-centric experiences in a highly collaborative environment.

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance frontend applications using React.js and TypeScript.

  
  

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver intuitive and robust user experiences.

  
  

• Build and maintain component libraries and design systems to ensure consistency and scalability.

  
  

• Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical discussions as a Senior Frontend Engineer.

  
  

• Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality, secure, and maintainable code.

  
  

• 
  

• 5+ years' experience as a Senior Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.

  
  

• Deep understanding of React hooks, state management (Redux, Zustand, etc.), and modern frontend architecture.

  
  

• Experience integrating REST APIs and/or GraphQL into frontend applications.

  
  

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel).

  
  

• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright) and modern CI/CD and Agile environments.
