Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

ProSource Group are seeking an Senior Mechanical Design Engineer on behalf of one of Irelands leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Sustainability Consultancies. This position is based in it's Dublin office.

This role offers the opportunity to work on & lead high-quality building projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and infrastructure sectors, within a collaborative and technically strong team.

You will lead & support the delivery of mechanical building services designs from concept through to construction, working closely with senior engineers and other disciplines.

• 
  
• Mechanical design of HVAC, heating, water services, drainage, and BMS systems
  
• Producing calculations, specifications, reports, and coordinated drawings
  
• Supporting site inspections, surveys, and contractor queries
  
• Assisting with project coordination, quality checks, and compliance
  
• Collaborating with electrical, structural, and architectural teams
  

• 
  
• Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
  
• 5+ years’ experience in building services design (consultancy preferred)
  
• Familiarity with Irish Building Regulations
  
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit; energy modelling tools
  
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
  
• Working toward Chartership
