Additionally, assist in the acquisition, organization, and management of tooling and spare parts, ensuring seamless integration and availability to support production continuity and minimize downtime.

Primary Responsibilities:

Produce detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for molds using SolidWorks for 3D modeling and AutoCAD for 2D floor layouts. Organize and manage the drawing library on the network, ensuring updated versions are available for the workshop and relevant teams. Keep accurate records of drawings, revisions, and project documents. Update drawings to reflect any changes or improvements. Write and update various manuals, including but not limited to changeover manuals, operation manuals, and preventive maintenance manuals to support machine maintenance and operation. Support and assist other team members in troubleshooting mold-related issues across all phases of mold activities, including setup, adjustments, and routine inspections. Support and assist in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing mold design and optimizing tooling processes. Ensure accuracy in mold designs and tooling, using and understanding various measuring equipment, including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments. Preparing technical proposals and monitoring the purchase of tooling, working in partnership with the purchasing area to analyze supplier quotations to ensure timely and efficient purchasing. Assist the stockroom team in organizing and managing spare parts for tooling by providing the necessary parts codes and technical specifications to ensure efficient inventory control and easy accessibility. Work closely with engineers, toolmakers and other team members to refine design concepts and seek solutions to technical problems in molds and tooling. Clearly communicate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, address design-related issues, and ensure alignment throughout the projects. Conduct analysis and simulations to validate design performance of molds and tooling, ensuring reliability and compliance with project specifications. Possess basic to moderate machining skills, including familiarity with both manual and CNC machining processes, to support the creation and modification of tooling and mold components as needed. Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar). Proven experience in product design and development. Strong project management experience with the ability to lead projects effectively. Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Experience with CAD/CAM software and analysis programs. Excellent blueprint reading skills and attention to detail.
