Busy practice is looking for a full-time radiology technician in a fast-paced orthopedic setting. This position also functions as back up support for clinical & front office staff. The ideal team member will be motivated, flexible, able to multitask and displays an interest in learning other specialty tasks associated with orthopedics (casting, splinting, fitting patients for DME). Must be energetic, empathetic, organized & have a dynamic attitude that contributes to the positive atmosphere of our expanding practice!

*Qualifications*
One (1) year of clinical experience
AART Registered or registry eligible (Required)
High school or equivalent (Required)
*Duties:*
* Candidates must be able to interpret physician orders clearly, determine individual techniques for prescribed examination and position patient properly
* Facilitate communication with patients regarding the examination or procedure and provide reassurance as necessary
* Observe OSHA workplace safety standards, offer radiation shielding options, HIPAA compliance & confident equipment use
* Produce quality radiographs with correct Patient ID and markings, competent use of ERH systems,
* Maintain a clean examination room and equipment, display a professional personal appearance, and make a positive patient experience in our office a top priority
* Other various tasks assigned by the manager.
*Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:*
* Possess and maintain a calm demeanor when under pressure
* Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work with a variety of patient care teams
* Strong computer skills - proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and EMRs, radiology equipment & systems
* Takes ownership for personal growth and development
