The Role
You will lead structural design projects across residential, commercial, healthcare, and industrial sectors. This is a hands‑on role with responsibility from concept to construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and prepare calculations/specifications for steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and compliance with Irish Building Regulations and Eurocodes
- Conduct site visits and attend meetings
- Mentor junior engineers and liaise with clients, architects, and contractors
Requirements
- 5–10 years’ experience in a consulting engineering environment (Ireland preferred)
- Level 8/9 Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Chartered Engineer (CENG) with Engineers Ireland, or close to qualification
- Proficient in design software (e.g. Tekla, Robot, SCIA) and Revit/BIM
- Fluent English and xcfaprz excellent communication skills
