Automation Engineer

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Automation Engineer to join a leading automation solutions provider. This role involves end-to-end project ownership, from system design to commissioning, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring both hands‑on technical expertise and the ability to guide project teams and processes in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.

• Manage and deliver automation projects through all stages, from design to implementation aligned with ISO9001 quality standards.
  
• Develop specifications for control systems including electrical, mechanical, and software components.
  
• Act as a key point of contact for clients before, during, and after project delivery.
  
• Identify project risks, manage bottlenecks, and maintain delivery timelines.
  
• Promote and uphold health & safety practices, including appropriate use of PPE, reporting hazards, and adhering to company policy.
  
• Support team development by mentoring junior staff and sharing technical knowledge.
  
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent, professional engagement.
  
• Take initiative in driving engineering standards and process improvements.
  
• Carry out other relevant duties as required by project or management needs.

• Extensive experience in automation engineering (ideally in a senior capacity).
  
• Strong understanding of control systems, electrical, mechanical and software.
  
• Proven track record of project and team leadership.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
