Staff Engineer

We are seeking a Staff Engineer to join our team and operate at a platform and architectural level, shaping long-term system design and scalability strategy. This role focuses on system resilience, domain modeling, and cross-service integration across a regulated multi-market environment.

• Define and evolve platform architecture and long-term system design.
  
• Design event-driven systems and service boundaries across domains.
  
• Lead architectural reviews and technical strategy discussions.
  
• Ensure regulatory-compliant system design and audit readiness.
  
• Identify systemic risks and scalability constraints.
  
• Drive engineering best practices and architectural governance.
  
• Provide mentorship across multiple teams.
  

• 
  
• Experience designing distributed systems at scale
  
• Strong background in event-driven architecture
  
• Experience in high-load / high-throughput environments
  
• Track record of owning architecture across services or teams
  
• Experience working in regulated or compliance-heavy domains
  
• Background in financial systems, wallets, or compliance-heavy platforms
  
• Proficiency in English (at least upper-intermediate/B2 level).
