We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our logistics team in Washington, D.C. In this role, you will be essential for the safe and efficient movement of goods within our facility. Your responsibilities will include operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and stack materials, ensuring accurate placement and inventory control. This position requires a high degree of skill, attention to detail, and a steadfast commitment to safety. We maintain a rigorous safety culture and mandate the use of appropriate PPE for all warehouse personnel. The role involves significant physical activity and regular lifting. Responsibilities include: conducting daily pre-operation checks on forklifts, safely transporting materials to designated areas, assisting with shipping and receiving operations, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You will also contribute to the overall organization and cleanliness of the warehouse. Valid forklift certification and demonstrated experience are required.
