Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between system data and physical stock.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or overages.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize stock placement and flow.
- Ensure all materials are properly labeled, stored, and tracked.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE, and contribute to a safe work environment.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed to support inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
