Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in St. Louis, Missouri. This role is crucial for the efficient flow of goods in and out of our distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. You will be an integral part of our supply chain operations, contributing to our commitment to timely and accurate deliveries. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Inspect goods for damage or defects and report discrepancies.
  • Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials within the warehouse (certification preferred).
  • Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Operate dock equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding shipment status and operational issues.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations is a plus.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and proper handling of materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
