We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our thriving logistics operations in Austin, Texas. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, ensuring that our warehouse operations run efficiently and effectively. You will conduct regular audits, reconcile discrepancies, and implement procedures to minimize stockouts and overstock situations. Your attention to detail will be paramount in safeguarding our assets and optimizing our supply chain. This position requires a strong understanding of inventory management systems, a keen analytical mind, and a commitment to warehouse safety. Responsibilities include:
- Performing cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
- Monitoring stock levels and generating reports on inventory status.
- Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate stock rotation.
- Maintaining accurate records of all inventory movements.
Safety is a top priority. While this role may involve some physical tasks, you must adhere to all lifting guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary.
