Responsibilities:
- Select items from warehouse shelves accurately based on order tickets.
- Perform quality checks to ensure the correct products and quantities are picked.
- Pack items with appropriate materials to prevent damage during shipping.
- Affix shipping labels and any necessary documentation to packages.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles.
- Comply with all safety regulations and ensure the proper use of PPE at all times.
- Meet established picking and packing performance metrics.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory verification as needed.
- Follow all logistics procedures to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
- Lift and move products throughout the warehouse as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for the duration of the shift.
- Previous experience in picking/packing or a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong work ethic and punctual attendance.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory systems is a plus.
- Willingness to contribute to a safe and productive work environment.
