Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage the daily operations of our busy distribution center in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory levels, coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. You will ensure that all team members are trained on proper procedures, including the correct use of PPE and safe handling practices. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
  • Manage inventory control processes, including cycle counts and stocktaking.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse workflows and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Train new employees on warehouse operations, safety procedures, and equipment usage.
  • Monitor and manage warehouse space utilization.
  • Liaise with transportation providers and other logistics partners.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and enforce lifting and handling guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a warehouse coordination or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and PPE usage.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
