We are looking for an energetic Material Handler to join our Baltimore, Maryland facility. This position is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse and the timely movement of materials. You will be involved in receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching a variety of goods. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials for damage and accuracy.
- Stage materials for put-away or direct shipment.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely to move materials.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain inventory records and participate in stocktaking activities.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Ensure adherence to all Safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
- Follow procedures for safe Lifting and material handling.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 60 lbs regularly.
- Proficiency in operating basic warehouse equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
