We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our warehouse. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be paramount in ensuring the efficient flow of goods and maintaining a secure work environment. This role is critical to our overall supply chain operations, supporting the seamless movement of products from receiving to shipping. You will work closely with warehouse supervisors and other team members to fulfill orders accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a proven track record of safe operation. We value teamwork and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and management as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management systems is a plus.
