Are you looking for an active role in Milwaukee, Wisconsin? We have an immediate opening for an Order Picker to join our dedicated warehouse team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial to our logistics pipeline, ensuring timely dispatch of products. We offer a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for growth within our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners, pick sheets, or other provided tools.
- Locate and retrieve items from designated storage areas within the warehouse.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area using pallet jacks or other equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Understand and follow guidelines for manual handling and Lifting of items, which may be heavy.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counting as required.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, as needed and trained.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations through prompt and accurate order fulfillment.
- Participate in ongoing training to improve picking techniques and Safety awareness.
- Report any discrepancies or issues encountered during the picking process immediately.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is essential.
