We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Richmond, Virginia. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods throughout the facility. You will be involved in loading and unloading trucks, as well as transferring materials between different areas of the warehouse. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount to maintain inventory integrity and prevent damage to products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and be committed to maintaining a secure work environment. Experience with various types of forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models, is highly desirable. Regular inspection of equipment to ensure proper functioning and reporting any maintenance needs promptly is also a key responsibility. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations. Adherence to all company policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.
