We are seeking a diligent and energetic Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Orlando, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to locate and retrieve specific items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or digital scanners. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You'll be navigating a large warehouse space, so comfortable footwear and a proactive attitude are essential. We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and your contribution to this effort will be highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be reliable, and possess a keen understanding of inventory management principles. Experience with RF scanners is a plus. You will be expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using order sheets or scanning equipment.
- Verify product information to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing or shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to inventory immediately.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and order picking techniques is beneficial.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and vests.
- Must be able to work the required schedule and overtime if necessary.
- Understanding of basic math skills.
- Commitment to Workplace Safety.
