Seeking a skilled Warehouse Coordinator in Tampa, Florida, to oversee and manage daily warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct warehouse associates to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.
- Manage inventory control processes, including cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, optimizing Logistics .
- Implement and enforce all Safety procedures and policies, ensuring proper use of PPE .
- Monitor warehouse equipment and arrange for maintenance as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.
- Train new warehouse staff on operational procedures and Safety protocols.
- Address and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
- Perform tasks involving manual handling and Lifting of goods, up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or coordination role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety and PPE compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical capability for tasks requiring significant movement and Lifting .
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
