We are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team in Boise, Idaho. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our facility. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, and preparing materials for shipment. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be physically capable of manual labor, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Experience in a warehouse setting is a plus, but we are willing to train dedicated individuals. Our operations rely heavily on effective material handling to meet customer demands and maintain inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading trucks, both incoming and outgoing.
- Moving materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Operating manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Verifying quantities and types of materials received against purchase orders.
- Accurately picking and packing orders according to customer specifications.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Following all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety.
- Using appropriate PPE at all times to ensure personal protection.
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Identifying and reporting damaged goods or discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods.
