Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric, propane) safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with accuracy and care.
- Transport goods to and from designated storage areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Follow all Safety guidelines, traffic rules, and operating procedures for warehouse equipment.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring clear aisles and safe access.
- Collaborate with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transport and storage.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification.
- Proficiency in operating multiple types of forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform Lifting tasks up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and protocols.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE at all times.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Must have a reliable means of transportation.
