Join our team in Boise, Idaho as an Order Picker! We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to accurately and efficiently pick customer orders from our warehouse shelves. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. This role involves navigating the warehouse, using scanning equipment, and preparing orders for shipment. - Receive picking orders via handheld scanners or other devices.
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves accurately.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items carefully and prepare them for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely to transport goods.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Assist with inventory checks as needed.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks, including bending and stooping.
- Comfortable using handheld scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct usage of PPE.
