We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our state-of-the-art facility in Miami, Florida. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of inventory and ensuring efficient operations. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials, load and unload trucks, and assist with inventory management. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport goods within the warehouse.
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks and containers.
- Organize and stack products efficiently in designated areas.
- Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
- Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Contribute to a safe and productive work environment.
- Support overall warehouse logistics and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator, preferably in a high-volume warehouse.
- Valid forklift certification is required.
- Knowledge of different forklift types and their safe operation.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength and stamina, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and accident prevention.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to adhering to all logistics and safety regulations.
