Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring they are ready for shipment.
- Use handheld scanners and other warehouse technology to manage inventory and orders.
- Verify the accuracy of picked and packed items against order details.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity standards for picking and packing.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Understanding of safety protocols and willingness to use required PPE.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
