Join our growing warehouse team in Fort Worth, Texas as an Order Picker! We are looking for reliable and efficient individuals to accurately retrieve products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive the right products promptly. This role involves navigating the warehouse, using pick lists or scanning devices, and ensuring order accuracy. You'll work collaboratively with other team members in a supportive environment, contributing to the smooth flow of our logistics operations. Maintaining a safe workspace and adhering to all company policies are paramount. This position requires diligence and a focus on precision.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from various warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers.
- Prepare picked items for packing and staging.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory control activities as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with orders or inventory.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain functions of the facility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous order picking experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and bending for long durations.
- Must be able to handle lifting up to 45 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail to minimize errors.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to follow all safety instructions and wear appropriate PPE.
