We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your primary duties will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment. A strong commitment to safety protocols and efficient workflow is paramount. You will operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required), to move materials throughout the facility. Attention to detail is crucial for accurate order picking and inventory management. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within a thriving logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and compare packing slips to verify accuracy.
- Stock materials into appropriate storage locations.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare goods for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the proper use of required PPE .
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed by supervision.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for extended periods. Good communication and teamwork skills are essential. A strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality are required. Experience with inventory management systems is beneficial. Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed. This role requires a high level of focus and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Understanding of warehouse operations and the importance of timely logistics is beneficial.
