Job Title: Software Design Engineer
Location: Redmond, WA- Onsite
Pay Range: $58.51 - $64.38 on Experis W2 (Benefits/401k/ PTO)
What's the Job?
Design, implement, test, and ship Windows and Linux client/OS components supporting monitoring, diagnostics, and reliability scenarios
Translate customer and partner requirements into technical designs, prototypes, and production-ready solutions
Build for high availability, performance, security, and operability, including telemetry, logging, alerting, and safe rollouts
Develop and maintain Linux-based components used to monitor and diagnose service health and infrastructure
Drive engineering best practices such as code reviews, CI/CD, and automated testing to improve quality and maintainability
What's Needed?
Experience in designing, implementing, and testing software components for Windows and Linux environments
Strong understanding of security practices, including fixing code vulnerabilities and managing secrets
Proficiency in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and implementing durable fixes for production issues
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and standard engineering lifecycle practices
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and adapt to fast-paced project requirements
