About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Business Analyst (BA) to join our team. The successful candidate will support both new initiatives and ongoing system maintenance projects, working closely with stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to ensure business needs are translated into clear technical solutions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in business process improvement, and requirements analysis, who is eager to grow their skills while contributing to impactful projects.
Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements for new and existing projects.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to bridge communication gaps.
- Assist in defining workflows, process improvements, and system enhancements.
- Support ongoing maintenance projects by analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and suggesting improvements.
- Plan, write, and execute test cases.
- Lead and coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with business stakeholders to validate that solutions meet requirements.
- Maintain project documentation, business cases, and system/process models.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Understanding of Oil and Gas Measurement Industry
- Ability to work with AI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously (new builds and maintenance).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall).
- Strong MS Office / collaboration tools skills (Excel, Word, Visio, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, etc.).
Education
- Degree in engineering or related field.
- Studies or certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent) are a strong asset.
Required Skills
- Familiarity with data-driven projects, ERP systems, or field operations software.
- Exposure to cloud-based systems (Azure, AWS) and integration projects.
