The Senior Localization Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of localization projects, ensuring high-quality multilingual deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role serves as a key liaison between linguists, studio production teams, localization engineering resources, and other stakeholders, providing strategic oversight as well as hands-on project execution.

JOB DUTIES
Project Oversight & Delivery
- Provide full oversight of individual localization projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and client or stakeholder expectations
- Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, and change requests across multiple concurrent localization initiatives
- Ensure localization workflows align with established processes and best practices
Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Act as the primary liaison with Studio Project Managers to align on overall production schedules, milestones, and delivery timelines
- Collaborate closely with localization engineering to define technical requirements, resolve workflow issues, and support tool or pipeline needs
- Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies clearly to internal teams and external partners
Linguist Management & Liaison
- Serve as the main point of contact for linguists, fostering strong working relationships and ensuring clear communication of project requirements
- Coordinate linguist onboarding, task assignments, and performance feedback as needed
- Address linguist queries, escalations, and quality concerns in a timely and professional manner
Estimating & Planning
- Prepare accurate localization project estimates, including word counts, resource needs, schedules, and costs
- Support Program Manager with forecasting and capacity planning by providing input on timelines and resourcing requirements
- Partner with stakeholders to balance quality, cost, and delivery expectations
Financial & Payment Oversight
- Manage linguist payments, ensuring accuracy, compliance with agreed rates, and timely processing
- Track project costs against estimates and flag variances or risks as needed
- Support financial reconciliation and reporting related to localization activities
