Construction Project Manager

Weston Manufacturing Ltd. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead structural steel projects from planning through fabrication and field erection. This role is ideal for someone with construction project experience who enjoys coordinating teams, solving technical challenges, and seeing projects move from drawings to completed structures.

You will work directly with engineers, contractors, shop teams, and field crews to keep projects organized, on schedule, and running smoothly. Structural steel experience is an asset, but candidates from general construction backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Candidates based in Calgary, Lethbridge, and Southern Alberta are encouraged to apply. Some scheduling flexibility or travel arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.

Salary

$85,000 – $125,000 per year, depending on experience

Plus benefits and company-paid accommodations when working out of town.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage structural steel projects from kickoff through completion
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and internal shop teams
• Track project schedules, budgets, and progress
• Review construction drawings and help resolve design or coordination issues
• Coordinate fabrication schedules, material deliveries, and site erection
• Lead project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Support estimating with project takeoffs and scheduling when needed
• Help improve internal project workflows and processes

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of project management experience  in construction, manufacturing, or industrial projects
• Experience coordinating contractors, engineers, or field crews
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Experience with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Airtable, etc.) is an asset

Experience with structural steel is an asset, but not required.
