Rheumatologist

Aceso Medical is seeking a Rheumatologist to join our modern, high-performing specialty clinic in Downtown Edmonton, Alberta. The successful candidate will provide expert clinical care in the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This full-time opportunity is ideal for Canadian or internationally trained specialists from the UK, Ireland, Australia, or the United States. Key Responsibilities  

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal conditions  
• Review and interpret laboratory tests and medical imaging to support accurate diagnosis and management 
• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans and lifestyle interventions 
• Provide longitudinal follow-up and patient-centred education for chronic disease management 
• Ensure comprehensive and timely documentation using the clinic’s electronic medical record (EMR) system 

Eligibility Requirements  

• Medical degree with completed specialty training in Rheumatology 
• Eligible for registration with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) 
• International qualifications such as MRCP (UK), FRACP (Australia), FRCPI (Ireland), or ABIM (Rheumatology) recognized as equivalent by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) 
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
