Position: Full-time, Permanent

Location: HRM, Nova Scotia

Salary Range: $71,500 – $88,000 per year (Commensurate with experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Position Synopsis

JonesCo Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the full scope of residential construction projects. You will be responsible for managing multiple job sites from breaking ground to final handover. This role requires a leader who can balance technical site supervision with scheduling, cost control, and client relations. Work Vehicle, Office workspace and phone, Mac book are provided

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operations:  Lead sub-trade scheduling and on-site management to ensure project timelines are met.
• Procurement:  Oversee project purchasing and material expediting.
• Compliance:  Execute construction details as per contract specifics and correspond with HRM building officials for municipal approvals.
• Financials:  Manage project cost controls, estimating, and recording of change orders.
• Relations:  Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular project updates.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience:  5+ years of experience in Construction Management (or a related field).
• Education:  A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Construction Management or Red Seal certification preferred
• Technical Knowledge:  Solid understanding of the residential building code and modern construction methods (single-family and multi-family experience preferred).
• Tech Savvy:  Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google suite and web-based project management software, and modern communication tools.
• Skills:  Superior organization and communication skills are required; experience in sales is considered a significant asset.
