We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a global IT services company based in Birmingham,you will be providing advanced technical support and leadership across network operations. This role is ideal for a highly skilled network engineer, with expertise across Palo Alto and Cloud networks. Ideally a individual who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about delivering resilient, secure, and high-performing network services.
Key Responsibilities Act as the primary escalation point for complex network-related issues. Provide Level 3/SME support across networking services and infrastructure. Lead troubleshooting efforts for major incidents, outages, and performance degradation. Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and cloud networking services. Proactively monitor network environments to identify risks, anomalies, and performance bottlenecks. Support 247 managed services operations, including participation in on-call rotations.
