We are hiring a Warehouse Worker for our facility in Durham, North Carolina! This position is key to our supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification and training available).
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse space.
- Strictly follow all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational targets and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is advantageous.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling products and orders.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and logistics best practices.
- Commitment to wearing and maintaining assigned PPE.
- Capacity to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- A proactive approach to tasks and a willingness to learn.
