We are seeking an efficient and accurate Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, ensuring all items are picked correctly and in good condition. Your efficiency and precision are vital to our logistics operations, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess excellent attention to detail, and work well in a fast-paced environment. A strong commitment to safety protocols, including the proper use of lifting techniques and PPE, is required. You will work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily picking targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must wear required PPE, such as safety vests and closed-toe shoes.
