Join our growing team as a Picker/Packer in beautiful San Diego, California! We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for picking items from warehouse shelves, packing them securely for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment. A strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations is beneficial. We provide all necessary training and emphasize a safe working environment, including the mandatory use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You'll be working closely with a dedicated team to ensure timely delivery of products to our customers. The ability to work effectively in a team setting and follow instructions precisely is essential. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys an active job and takes pride in their work. You'll be involved in various aspects of order fulfillment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. We value efficiency and accuracy, and your contribution is vital to our supply chain success. Lifting of boxes up to 50 lbs may be required. Experience with RF scanners is a plus. We are committed to maintaining high standards of safety in all our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect items for damage and ensure quality before packing.
- Pack products securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing productivity targets.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Must be able to handle frequent Lifting of various product sizes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of inventory management.
- Willingness to follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks involving significant Lifting.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
